3D Typography
Our last assignment is 3D typography. I choose letter L for my illustration. First I type the letter L and I extrude the letter into 3D using Photoshop.
This is the sample of my 3D process.
After I am satisfied with the lighting and colour, I rasterized it.
Then I create some texture to make it looks like fury and I add on a eye to make it looks like caterpillar.
Then I add up some tree to make it looks like a caterpillar is climbing on the tree.
This is the result.
Matte Painting
For my matte painting. I want to make a robot lying in a waterfall. Then I create an image by using the pen tool. Then I colour the robot with the colour that I pick. Then i create some details upon it. Then I place a water fall. Some editing and then, finish.
This is the result of my matte painting
Potrait
This is our second assignment. Which we have to make a portrait. Well, after several trial. I finally make one which portraiture myself. First I create an outline using pen tool. Then choose some colour that I want to use to paint the image. Then I use the same technique which colour value thing to paint it. Then I colour the detail to make it looks like not so flat.
And this is the result.

After some highlights and coloring. Then it turns out like this.
For Cone. I draw the outline first,

Then I color the base color.
After some highlight and toning. It turns out like this.
First I draw a box.
Then, I choose some color that i might use.
After some highlight and toning. It turns out like this.
This is a free form image. Therefore I create random outline for it. Then I choose some color for it. After that I color the base color with red. Next I did some highlight and toning. Then it looks like exactly as I wanted.
